POSITION 
Development Coordinator, Admissions, 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans, which include work with internal and external audiences to develop new relationships with referral sources including physicians, hospital discharge planners and other various groups.
• Education to providers of programs and services, coordination of educational offerings and process improvements to meet referral source needs.
• The Development Coordinator possessing an RN licensure will perform evaluations for admission to hospital programs.  LPN licensure will collect basic objective and subjective data from observations, examinations, interviews and written record.
• Information will be recorded in pre-admission assessment as directed and signed off by the Director of Admissions or designated registered nurse.  Success will be measured through customer feedback studies and referral statistics.
• Admission and conversion goals.
• Work will be performed in an ethical and legal manner following organizational policies, processes, protocols and procedures.
• Responsible for quality service delivery and internal/external customer relations for Madonna as a whole, including upholding the mission and values for the department and facility.

  EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and current RN license from the NE State Board of Nursing and a minimum of 3 years applicable work experience required.
• General knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid programs and basic knowledge of indemnity and managed care insurance preferred.
• Must possess and maintain current licensure/certification in area of clinical practice.  Current drivers license and good driving record required.
• Must submit a copy of current drivers abstract reflecting a good driving record.
