Our client is seeking an Assistant Construction Operations Manager to join their team! The selected individual will oversee the operations and activities of a team of skilled experts. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the daily activities of the production and operation teams
  • Delegate production assignments to appropriate teams and personnel
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate teams to achieve desired outcomes, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Place production orders from customers
  • Manage production budgets and ensure expenses are within approved limits
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and track progress towards goals
  • Identify and implement improvements to existing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Inspect all materials and equipment to detect malfunctions
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans for operations
  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Participate in a minimum six-month training period, rotating through various positions on the manufacturing floor
  • A minimum of five years previous experience in manufacturing management or a related field
  • Familiarity with various manufacturing software and tools used for scheduling, monitoring, and analysis
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams effectively
  • Capability to analyze data and identify trends to make informed decisions
  • Possess strong knowledge of production tools and equipment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with others
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously
